OMEGA’S NEW SEAMASTER MODELS
The Omega Seamaster 300 M is one of the world's most iconic watches and one of Omega’s most diverse ranges. Overtime Omega has given us new variations of the 300 M and introduced many new colours and designs. However, in the last year or so Omega has released quite a few new models and they're definitely worth looking at. All of them feature the highly loved calibre 8900 famously COSC and METAS certified and gives you the ability to wear the watch everywhere. It seems like Omega cannot stop innovating and pushing the limits of the same watch.

It’s impressive to see that they have so many different variations of the same watch yet they all wear and look very different thanks to Omega's ability to make subtle new features. That’s why today we’re going to take a look at what Omega’s new Seamaster 300 M are and what makes them different.
Omega first hinted at a new era of Seamaster 300 M models when they brought out the 60th anniversary model featuring a retro blue dial with the smaller wave pattern dial. The other striking feature was the classic lollipop seconds hand with the circle at the very top of the seconds hand. The lack of date gives it that symmetrical look and the matte blue aluminium bezel helps keep the watch sleeker with less flash compared to the regular versions.

With this being an anniversary model, it wouldn’t be complete without Omega to make some reference to James Bond and on the back of the watch, you can see the classic spiralling bullet introduction with James Bond in the centre of it for the rotor. Now, one thing to check is how it wears as this design adds a few extra millimetres to the thickness, this model comes in at 14.3 m thick which is 0.7 m thicker over its regular counterpart. However, it still wears perfectly and the mesh bracket helps the watch sit perfectly on the wrist.

The next one to follow is their all new Seamaster 300 M with a retro inspired black wave dial along with an alimony bezel. The alumni bezel, whilst not very scratch resistant, gives it that matte look and under the radar design. The smaller wave pattern is similar to that of the older blue version taking inspiration from their classic “Pierce Brosnan” James Bond ears of design. The model doesn’t have a date giving that perfect symmetrical balance to the watch. It is still made of stainless steel like your classic models but it is a little thicker at 13.8mm compared to the normal 13.6mm thickness. This version also comes on Omega’s highly popular mesh bracelet which allows for quick sizing.

Another one of their latest models to be realised includes a new titanium and bronze model. One of the first things you’ll notice about this model is its striking matte green dial, essentially like the No Time To Die model but with a green dial and bronze bezel and crowns. This gives the 300 M a very vintage feel to it with the darker and more faded colours yet the green dial gives it that pop of colour blending vintage and modern designs perfectly. You can clearly see Omega is pushing their mesh bracket as the default option as that seems to be the one they show on all their models. But even more than that, this shows Omega isn’t afraid to play around with a hit of colour and try new materials. It’ll be very interesting to see how this line evolves over time and what they plan next.

This model is the exact opposite of subtle and so it should be with all of its features!
